RSS-aggregator Google Reader has a new interface and the ability to publish links to social network Google +. This function replaces the existed “I like,” according to the official blog of Google Reader.
The appearance of the service has been updated in accordance with the new interface of Google products. Each entry has a new button “1″, with which you can mark your favorite news and place it in your profile in Google +.
The developers emphasize that along with the integration of the social network they started to work on disabling the “social” functions of Reader: it is planned to remove the possibility of “friends” and “follow” and “comment” on the record of their RSS-feed. This enables Google to focus on the social networking site and avoid duplication.
The Company requests users who enjoy the innovations in Google Reader to send their feedback and comments. Those who decided to switch to other RSS-aggregators, Google reiterates the possibility of exporting subscriptions available in Reader. Opportunities to return the old interface means are not provided.
There are plans to release an updated Google Reader for mobile phones based on Android. The first version of the service was introduced in 2005. Reader allows you to group entries by tags and give them total access. In addition, you can publish favorite records in various services such as Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and more.
