Microsoft employee was stealing company programs

 Microsoft employee is accused of stealing software. Defendant’s name is Ulugbek Shodmonov, he is 31 and is likely to come from the former USSR. The amount of damage is estimated at 9,900 dollars.

The scheme, which was exploited by the fraudster, is not sensational. Shodmonov worked in the Microsoft store in Redmond. He just took disks with Microsoft products from the store. Later the announcements of the sale were placed in special sites like eBay.

At this moment the investigation through the Shodmonov’s account on eBay revealed 17  Microsoft software products and 18 games for the Xbox 360, displayed for sale at different times. During the whole period of his work the attacker managed to legally purchase only one copy of Windows 7 Professional, though surveillance cameras recorded that he took dics at least 22 times.
