Last week  Internet was filled with rumors about the Apple’s plans to release iPad 3. The company, which started selling the iPad 2 in March this year, is going to start iPad 3 before March 2012 – in the IV quarter of 2011.

According to Taiwanese newspaper Economic Times, which published reliable information recently, the release may take place in September, just along with the iPhone 5 and platform iOS 5. Unlike the first two tablets new iPad 3 will have touch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels.

At the same time PCMag.com referring to Hollywood sources reported that the iPad 3 will have  3D capabilities. Movie studios are reportedly already engaged in the selection of 3D-content, which will be posted to iTunes.

Releasing IPad 3 in autumn, Apple will strike a devastating blow to competitors (supporting Android, Windows, BlackBerry, webOS), which haven’t even really caught up with the iPad 2 yet. However, the impact will be felt also by people who recently shelled out for the iPad 2.
