Merkel dissatisfied with Moscow’s attitude to elections in DNR and LNR

German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Tuesday expressed dissatisfaction with the position of Russia in relation to the elections in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republic.

“Illegitimate elections have shown how difficult it is to comply with the agreements that have been reached” – quoted Merkel.

She added that “Russia does without act like it would like in Europe.”

German chancellor once again emphasized that while she sees no reason for the lifting of sanctions against Moscow.

November 2 at the high turnout took place elections of deputies to Parliament and head of Donetsk and Lugansk breakaway People’s Republic.

Before that, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow intends to declare the elections in DNR and LNR.
