We found out Georgian parsley – cilantro. That is why our dish is Chanakhi. As usual, the cooking process takes place in the fresh air. We’ll use the grill, preparing the dish in a pot.
Chanakhi ingredients:
- Beef
- Potato
- Eggplant
- Bulgarian red pepper
- Onions
- Tomatoes
- Adjika
- Tomato paste
- Cilantro
- Garlic
- Seasoning: black pepper, salt, smoked paprika, herbs
Chanakhi cooking method:
- Firstly, marinate beef in soy sauce and lemon. Spring with black pepper, smoked paprika, and herbs flavoring.
- Chop and salt eggplant. Following that, wash and squeeze it.
- Set meat parts, bell peppers, onions on the grill. Remain until all the components are baked. Take in a bowl. Bake vegetables, not cooking completely.
- Add oil to the cauldron. It is possible to use sunflower or olive oil. Cook the potatoes over high heat until crunchy.
- Put vegetables, eggplants, and meat to potatoes. Expect 15 minutes until all the components are absorbed in the cauldron.
- Arrange the sauce: tomato paste, adjika, hot red pepper, garlic. Season: black pepper, salt, smoked paprika, herbs.
- Add the hot sauce to the cauldron so as to cover the dish. Cover with a lid, stew the Chanakhi on low heat for 1-1,5 hours.
- Add green onions, garlic, and a lot of cilantro to the ready dish.
- Put on a plate, serve. Delicious Georgian supper is ready.
