Russians expect eleven days of Bank holidays in January next year. Ministry of Labor announced plans to transfer the weekend in 2015.

Tripartite Commission on regulation of social and labor relations supported the Russian Ministry of Labor proposal to transfer weekend next year.

According to the project, the New Year’s Bank holidays Russians should held from 1 to 11 January inclusive.

As stated by the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Lyubov Eltcova, is suggested to move the weekend 3rd and 4th of January (Saturday and Sunday), coinciding with the non-working public holidays, to January 9 and May 4, respectively.

“Thus, in January 2015, will be the 11-day Bank holiday, which coincides with the New Year holidays and Christmas, from 1 to 11 January”, – explained in the ministry.
