Quanta Computer will supply servers to Facebook
The stock price well-known Taiwanese contract manufacturer Quanta Computer rose 2.3% to 1.86 U.S. dollar, which is the most notable growth for the period from March 30, 2011. This happened after the stock market of Taiwan became aware of the company received an order to supply server for Facebook.
The fact that in the third quarter of 2011 Quanta will provide the servers, the world’s largest social network, has reported an authoritative publication Economic Daily News (EDN), coming out in Chinese. As stated in the article, Facebook plans to equip servers from Quanta Computer its new data center to be built in North Carolina.
