Latvian tits appeared in Twitter. Their account was created by the Ir magazine staff.
On the site “Birds on Twitter” is said that the birds are unfairly denied the opportunity to write messages in this popular microblogging service, that got its name from the English “bird” word “twitter”.
Creator of tits twitter-account Voldemar Dudum told Oddity Central, that this idea came to him while he was feeding the birds. In order for birds to share their thoughts with the whole world, he designed a special keyboard: Dudum screwed pieces of bacon to the keys.
Birds that need fat to carry low temperatures, are pecking at the keys, and in such a way are typing a message. Dudum said that birds can write up to 150 tweets per day. And although most reports do not bear any meaning, tits already have over 800 subscribers.
Tits are not the first animals on Twitter: This site already has accounts of cat, the cobra from the Bronx Zoo, rabbit Buddy, and other pets that became famous in the Internet. However, all these accounts are led by people, whereas @ hungry_birds tits write themselves.
