Home remedies for cockroaches and ants? Do they exist?

The ants and cockroaches are one of biggest discomfort in house. Do you feel uncomfortable when the guests notice whiskered friends in your house? Of course you do! But?

No, not friends appearance, I mean ☺ Here are some home remedies for cockroaches and ants.

Home remedies for ants

The ants become a big problem f with the onset of spring warmth and summer. Especially for those people who live on the lower floors, or in a private home. Hatful red ants look like ordinary garden one, but their size is a bit smaller. A new family with hundreds and thousands of winged ants, male and female appears in the ant nest once a year. And if conditions will be favorable in your house, the new ant family will share it with you ☺Usually red ants nest in hidden, places out of reach such as floor deck, tile cladding, and baseboards, under the parquet and cracks in plaster and so on. However, if little red ants appeared in your apartment, it doesn’t mean that their nest is in your home. Ants are able to travel long distances in search of food.

• Red ants

hate the smell of sunflower oil, leaves of elder, wild mint and wormwood. Also you can try to lubricate their ways with garlic few times a month.

• If you fill the jar with water adding honey or sugar, the ants will get there and drown.

• Meat bait:

mix 2 soup spoon of chopped meat and a half of teaspoon of milled borax and lay out in places where ants live.

Home remedies for both ants and cockroaches

Some remedies are effective for both ants and cockroaches. All these home remedies include boric acid.

• You need to take one teaspoon of boric acid and one teaspoon of sugar or honey then mix it and dilute with water. Put the drops of this mixture on the insect’s routes. You need to do this process during the whole weekend.

• You need 3 eggs, 3 potatoes, one teaspoon of sugar, one bag of boric acid. You need to boil the eggs with potatoes on a slow fire under cap (potato must become slick and mustn’t fall to pieces). Peel the products when it’s hot. Throw away egg white and eggshell. Take egg yolk with peeled potatoes and mash it all with help of fork than add a bag of boric acid and sugar. Mix everything thoroughly. Then make from that puree little balls and put them on the places where cockroaches and ants run most often. This procedure has to be done at the beginning of the waning moon. And repeat it once more time after 10 days (the ending of the waning moon). You must monitor the ants have no place to drink (keep the sink and rag dry at night) during this break.
