American Actress Is Suing Amazon For Disclosure Of Her Age In The Internet

American actress demanded one million dollars from online store Amazon for the publication of her age in Internet Movie Database (IMDb.com) in the court of Seattle, reports Associated Press. It is not reported who exactly has filed a lawsuit, but it is known that the plaintiff resides in Texas, USA.

The reason of dissatisfaction of plaintiff is that the company refused to remove the date of her birth from the site after she asked to do so.

The lawsuit says that the administration IMDb wrongfully placed on the site personal information of the actress who signed up for one of the professional service IMDb in 2008.

Lawyers of the woman who will soon be 40 years old, claim that it will be harder for the actress to find work after the publication of her personal data. In addition, plaintiff argues that she is being constantly offered the roles of forty years-old women, however, she can not get this job, as she looks  too young for her age.
