Coming weeks will be decisive for Ukraine, – US Ambassador

The next few weeks will be crucial for Ukraine as new faces who came to the Parliament, have to show what they can do and whether they are ready for change.

This was announced during the second Lviv media forum, extraordinary and plenipotentiary US Ambassador in Ukraine Jeffrey Payyet.

“Now is forming national identity, unity of Ukraine. The degree of commitment to the people to the choices they made in the presidential election in May and parliamentary elections in October, impressive “- said Dzh.Payyet.

In this case, the US ambassador said that the next few weeks will be crucial for Ukraine.

“If we talk about the upcoming week, I think they are extremely important. Great importance will have the results of parliamentary elections. We have to see how they will approach the work of new faces who came to parliament,”- he stressed.

“We recognize the challenges faced by Ukraine over Moscow’s actions. But we have reason to hope for the best. I am optimistic come to Ukraine the path ahead, but need to do more Ukrainian great job”- added DZh.Rayyet.
