Facebook and Baidu are working on a common project
According to business publication Business Week, a social networking site Facebook has signed an agreement with the largest Chinese search engine Baidu to establish a joint venture that will create and promote a social network in the Chinese market.
As Ukrinform reports with reference to CyberSecurity, the agreement between the companies followed a series of meetings between heads of Facebook and Baidu.
It is already known that the Chinese social site will not be integrated with Facebook.
Kaiser Kuo, a spokesman for China’s Baidu, said that the company has not yet authorized as a comment on this project.
