Russia sent warships to the borders of NATO

The Cold War between Russia and the West has entered a new phase. Troop ships of the Northern Fleet of Russia is moving towards the north-east Atlantic, which includes the Barents, Norwegian, North and Baltic Sea, East Greenland and Iceland, the Azores, the English Channel, and so on. This was announced at a press conference, a representative of the Russian Navy.

According to a representative of the Navy, the main purpose of the presence of Russian warships near the borders of NATO is the need to ensure the safety of maritime economic activities.

“Today troop ships and support vessels, led by big ship” North “came out of the main base of the Northern Fleet Severomorsk in the Barents Sea, and took a course in the North-East Atlantic,” – said the representative of the fleet.

As noted information agency, previous long march of “North” lasted from December 2012 to June 2013. The ship was more than 30 thousand miles and completed the task successfully to combat piracy in the Gulf of Aden and the Horn of Africa.
