Poroshenko and heads of state Visegrad Group in Bratislava agreed to establish a new format of cooperation.
According to the press service of the Ukrainian state, in particular, agreed to establish a permanent interaction at the level of ministers of foreign affairs and defense.
“All countries have witnessed: we are dealing with aggression. We must demonstrate the unity and solidarity of the whole of Europe with Ukraine and security issues, and the economy. And I saw this solidarity and support in Bratislava”, – Poroshenko said at a press conference after the meeting.

He thanked them for such a “firm and clear position” and stressed that such support is needed Ukraine.
The president also said he was pleased with the stylistics of the conversation, as discussed specific support. “Sounded position where support is required – we will come to the rescue. This is exactly what necessary for Ukraine,” – he said.
The main thing during the meeting were security issues. “This is a war for freedom and democracy in all the EU”, – said the Head of the Ukrainian state. In turn, the President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski thanked the President of Slovakia for the invitation Ukrainian leader. In his opinion, this format is needed now. Visegrad Four solidarity and support to Ukraine, which “opposes Russian aggression.” He supported the establishment of a permanent interaction format “Visegrad Four and Ukraine” at different levels.

President of Hungary Janos Ader thanked to Poroshenko for his efforts for a peaceful resolution of the situation. He also stressed that Hungary from the beginning fulfilled all decisions to impose sanctions against Russia. “So it will be in the future”, – assured Ader.
In turn, the president of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman expressed his belief that “the President Poroshenko will enter the history as the president of the world”.
Slovak leader Andrei Kiska stressed that all countries in the Visegrad Four in solidarity with Ukraine, and sanctions are simply necessary in a time when the dialogue does not work.
