Why is it important to go to the library and museum for self improvement?

Unfortunately, in the recent years museum and library have become less use and they are not so popular as they were before. Unless that do not lose their visitors, who “keep up with the times”. With the advent of the Internet a lot of the pupils and students become lazy to go to the library and museum, because it is boring. But you need them for self improvement.

For me, these  places have always been something grand and mysterious. First, there you can learn more than you knew before. Secondly, there are this knowledge and things, that have accumulated over the years and handed down from the generation to generation. Thirdly, it is our history, without knowledge of which we can`t have any future. I think that museums and libraries are important for spiritual enrichment, to know, who we are and where we are.

In addition, libraries and museums often resort to the tricks, using a variety of “bait.” For example, the Royal Ontario Museum (Toronto, Canada) in the warmer season held the party at the museum every Friday, where you can almost feel yourself as the hero of the movie “Night at the Museum”. Also, new technologies, where thanks to you can touch the screen monitor, and it can be selected the short stories about a particular exhibit, you can hear the sound backgrounds and more. The libraries have Internet access, and occasionally they prepare a variety of the interesting activities.

I think that libraries and museums are important regardless of the progress of humanity.
