The order of entry of foreign nationals into the territory of Ukraine, as well as import or export values on the territory of Ukraine are regulated by the current legislation of Ukraine (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine). Entry into the territory of Ukraine for foreign citizens may be visa and visa-free, according to the international agreements signed between the states. If necessary, obtain Ukrainian visa, foreigners should contact the consulate or diplomatic missions of Ukraine abroad.
Validity of Ukrainian visas may be extended on the territory of Ukraine. Diplomatic and service Ukrainian visas and visas may be issued to the media in Ukraine.

Ukrainian visa
Registration of temporary stay of foreigners on the territory of Ukraine only occurs in crossing the Ukrainian border. Foreign nationals who arrived in Ukraine for education, training, employment or permanent residence must register with the Interior Ministry.
If you have lost your national passport in Ukraine: urgently inform the people or companies who have invited you, as well as the police to obtain relevant information. Then you need to contact the diplomatic mission (consulate) of the country to receive the new document instead of the lost, and re-obtain Ukrainian visa for departure from Ukraine, or to register a foreign passport in Ukrainian internal affairs authorities.

Employment of foreigners in Ukraine
To the right of legal employment of foreigners in Ukraine need to get a work permit in Ukraine, taxpayer identification number and register a place of residence.
Transit crossing the Ukrainian border, foreigners are allowed if they have a visa of the country of destination or transit Ukrainian visa, tickets, transportation, or other documents that can confirm the transit border crossing.
Visa-free travel
Residents of countries with which Ukraine has concluded international agreements on visa-free regime, have the right to enter the territory of Ukraine with a document valid for international travel insurance policy and the original invitation from the person or entity (as provided for international agreements). For registration service, business, scientific, cultural, sports and private Ukrainian visa invitation EU citizens, Canada, the USA, Turkey, Japan and Switzerland are not available.
For residents of the following countries provided free regime for a period of 90 days within 180 days: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Vatican, Great Britain, Greece, Denmark, Estonia, Israel, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Korea, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, USA, Romania, Germany, Netherlands, Monaco, Malta, Latvia, Korea, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Finland, France, Montenegro, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan.
For residents of the Hong Kong visa-free regime for 14 days stay.
For residents of Macedonia and Mongolia established a special visa regime, which suggested to clarify at the consulate.
Citizens of countries where there is no embassy or consulate of Ukraine, Ukrainian make out visas in neighboring countries.
Vaccination for crossing the Ukrainian border is not required.
Validity of passport to enable the entry into Ukraine – three months after the end of the trip.
For Ukrainian visa, you will need the following documents:
- a valid passport;
- visa application form;
- Photo 4.5 x 3.5 cm;
- Hotel booking confirmation (with guided tour) or a letter of invitation from a tour operator or a letter of invitation to the company (at a business trip), or official invitation approved by the local department of visas and registrations (Visa Office) (for a private trip);
- payment of the fee for the issuance of Ukrainian visa.
