Dobkin: Poroshenko had four options, he chose the worst

Former governor of the Kharkiv region Mikhail Dobkin said that the President of Ukraine Poroshenko had four options regarding the resolution of the conflict in the Donbas, but he chose the worst.

“When all this is just started and Poroshenko was not yet president, Akhmetov, I and many other people said stop shooting and sit down and talk. We were accused of treason – Akhmetov stigmatized, I separatist … In the end, it all ended negotiations carried out by Poroshenko, at the same time, he promised to end the war within a few weeks. After all, why in my home Kharkov voted for the Poroshenko? Because everyone, including me, hoped that he will be able to stop the war, “- said Dobkin, adding that he did not vote for Poroshenko, but hoped he would be able to resolve the conflict in the Donbass.

Dobkin also noted the rating fall of Poroshenko in Kharkov.

“Now he has lost in Kharkov 20% less than in six months. In my opinion, Poroshenko, when he became president, there were four variants of behavior. The first – to arrange a real massacre for the territory, the second – a little pin down, to show the strength and sit down at the negotiating table, the third – to get involved in the fight, and get to the negotiating table and the fourth – engaging in a war, to suffer in her defeat. The fourth option is discarded, first – hopeless, because war with Russia in our position is very difficult, remained second and third. He had to before Ilovaisky come to the negotiating table.
