Poroshenko urged Europe to support Ukraine in the confrontation with the aggressor

President of Ukraine Poroshenko during a telephone conversation with President of Finland Sauli Niinisto expressed considerable concern about the mass flow of troops and heavy weapons from the Russian border.

They discussed the results of extraordinary meeting of the UN Security Council concerning Ukraine, in particular, the testimony of the OSCE, the United States, Britain, France, Lithuania, Luxembourg and Australia, which confirmed that the cause of the deterioration in the Donbas is a gross violation of the Minsk  agreements.

“President Poroshenko expressed considerable concern about the mass flow of troops and heavy weapons from the Russian border. The Ukrainian President urged Finland and the European Union to demonstrate unity in support of Ukraine to external aggression,” – said in a statement.

Poroshenko thanked Niinisto for the Finland’s support of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
