President of Ukraine Poroshenko know that the European Union will not send their soldiers to fight for Ukraine, but hopes for military and technical assistance.
“We fully understand that the EU will not send troops to Ukraine. What we need is a military-technical cooperation. We have to help some countries and I am sure that we will get a lot of support”,- said the President of Ukraine.

In addition, Poroshenko stressed that Ukraine has no prospects of joining the EU, but membership in NATO Ukraine is not ready.
“There is a perspects for EU accession. Even if we were to ask for NATO membership, NATO is probably not ready for it. Only when we carry out reforms in Ukraine and will meet the criteria, we can help people in Ukraine to ask if they want to join a NATO”, – said the President of Ukraine.
