A couple of the Israeli town of Aude Hasharon named her newborn daughter in honor of the Lyke button “Like” (Like) a social networking site Facebook, says Ha’aretz. According to the girl’s father, Lior Adler, he believes that the name Lyke is a modern and innovative and still unique – in the country previously not been reported for children with similar names. Speaking with reporters parent newborn Like said that when laid out on his Facebook page photos daughters, he received more than 40 “Likes” from their friends on social networks. Moreover, he noted that the list of his friends, only about one hundred people, so 40 “Likes” he considered a good result.
Adler added that his two older children, he and his wife also called the unusual names – one child named Pai (from the English “pie” – “Pie”), and another – Dvash, which in Hebrew means “honey”. As explained by the Israelis, these names are intended to express the passion of his family cooking.
A girl named Like was not the first child, named in honor of Facebook. For example, recently in Egypt, was born a girl, whose parents gave her the name of FaceBook. Thus, they expressed their gratitude Facebook and its significance for the Egyptian revolution.
