New life on Monday? Better don’t do this.

“I will start a new life on Monday!” – many people proclaim. But why not on Friday for example?
I like it more. On Monday or at the beginning of the year you can observe the fitness clubs full of people. They have some similar features: extremely motivated, willing to have a quick result, lacking for a plan.

It is good indeed that people want to change something but they should be a bit more reasonable. Whatever you want to gain at first you need to digest it. Say what exactly do you want to reach, “to become healthy” won’t do. You must be confident what you want!

After fining out what you want you should realize WHY do you need this! It requires some time to understand this. Things like “friends will praise me”, “they will jealous of me” and so on are too shallow. Always raise this question in your head.

Only when the previous stage is reached you may go farther. At this step create a plan
with clear points and terms. Consult a professional or a book to find enough information to make your plan more elaborate. Do not skip this stage thinking it’s not important.

When you did all these things – no matter what day it is today, it’s time to start. Now you are not over-motivated, you have left behind everything that is not important and you have a clear vision of what you wantAnd after all stock up patience and work! Enjoy the process and small victories.
