In the European Union are growing disagreements regarding of sanctions against the Russia

In the European Union is growing difference of views regarding the strengthening of sanctions against Russia for its aggression against Ukraine.

“I witnessed a discussion on clear record (in the decision), and I believe that a well turned out, that generally taken a stand. It would be bad if it was not possible to take a common position. The differences were large, but we must be glad that there is” – said Minister of foreign Affairs of Poland Grzegorz Schetyna after the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the European Union.

As noted Shetina, discrepancies more than a month ago. During the last meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg, it was decided to maintain introduced in September of economic sanctions against the Russian Federation, this time to question their gain was not discussed. The EU had to discuss tougher sanctions against Russia at the Council of Foreign Ministers on 17 November. However, as already stated, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, economic sanctions yet ruled.
