Ukraine refused Canadian fighter jets

Canada offered to Ukraine a few tens of F-18 to participate in ATO – said former Deputy Defense Minister Leonid Polyakov.

According to him, these aircraft have already decommissioned from the Canadian Air Force, in connection with what may be referred to the Ukrainian side for free. In addition, Canada offers assistance of the experts who could teach Ukrainian pilots and help to maintain fighters.

However, Ukraine’s offer of Canada refused, citing the failure of the expensive operation of these aircraft, as well as the fact that the pilot training will take time.
