US Vice President Joe Biden visited the Maidan and the memorial cross to the heroes Hundreds of Heaven.

Biden came to lay flowers at the memorial sign with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, reported the press-center of the Maidan on it’s page on Facebook.
Together with them at the alley Hundreds of Heaven came Ukrainian politicians and members of the government.
After that, Poroshenko and Biden went on Bankova for negotiations.
US Vice President said that he considered it an honor to be in Kiev is the anniversary of the Maidan, when the “Ukrainian people have shown incredible courage”.
Biden proposed to strengthen sanctions against Russia because of the de-escalation of the conflict in the Donbass.
